So Garcia didn't open up much and just got beat down every single round. Was it worth it for him to fight in this style and take a comprehensive beatdown or would he have been better trying to win and get stopped earlier in the fight? Garcia is obviously a high IQ fighter and was able to slip some shots and didn't take some big shots, but every round he took more and more cleaner shots and was clearly broken by the 7th round. I think long term this beat down takes more of a toll on him than if he would have actually tried to win and gotten stopped in the 7th or 8th round. Thoughts?
Was It Smart for Garcia to Be As Defensive?

I'm a Mikey fan but damn....all of those self congratulatory ''I'm just better than him'' statements and not show up at all......He pretty much can't show his face ever again at ww.Comment

Oh, make no mistake he still took a beat down. It wasn't Pac/Margo level, but from the 9th round on Garcia took a beating. The 12th round Spence took the foot off the gas a bit late but he was punishing Garcia.
To Curtis Harper, yes, I'm aware him not opening up allowed him to see the final bell, but I'm asking was that the smart thing for him to do? By seeing the final bell and being so defensive, he took a longer beating. Could have avoided that if he went for the win and got KTFO.Comment
