Spence could have KO Mikey but chose to do two things: show that he's a better boxer and make Mikey eat his own words by punishing him

Spence outboxed Mikey, but I don’t think he proved he was the better technical fighter. He controlled the fight with his jab from the opening bell. But it was moreso due to his length and quickness than anything he was doing technically. Mikey was trying time it. But Spence didn’t haven’t to put himself in harm’s way to land the damn thing.

I also don’t buy that Spence chose a prolonged beatdown over getting Mikey outta there. He stepped on the gas, and there were several rounds where he battered Mikey. He also let his hands go and opened himself up to the little bit of offensive success that Mikey had. Mikey’s just extremely tough.

It wasn’t Spence skills cause they suck, it was his size and reach that he used the proper way to beat a smaller fighter.

Sorry dude, Spence showed tons of skills, like he has in every other fight. The skills are why he is always busting people up. He's not the only fighter that had size and reach on a guy. Many with size and reach have lost.
