Like I said I like Spence a lot, I had him number 2 pfp but if he can't stop or KD a small guy who he is better than in EVERY WAY, then that is not a great look for him. If GGG went 12 with Brook y'all would kill him for that.

Mikey was always a notch below Great. Lomachenko would have dominated him, too. Mikey made a wise choice of being dominated by a bigger fighter.

I agree. I have never really seen the 'greatness' with Mikey so never really labeled him a top 10 pfp guy. I would like to see that Loma fight and I would favor Loma to be a little too slick for Mikey and Mikey not quite being big enough or hard hitting enough to stop Loma.

Dude what the fu.ck are you even talking about. My original post was saying that I always favored Spence to KO anyone at WW. But if he can't KO a slow small Mikey, how the fu.ck is he going to KO Crawford who is better than Mikey in every way.

My saying that I have him at number 2 pfp demonstrates that I rated him very highly, but after this recent performance if he can't KO lil Mikey, he will obviously have more problems with Crawford than I expected and I think many people feel that way.

Additionally, there are tons of fights that negate that old mantra. Great fighters dig deep and get the victory....this simply was not the case for Mikey tonight.

Lastly, spew your argument to Sugar Ray Leonard and quite a few of the others who said Mikey will win because he is the more skilled fighter..... You'll be in good company haha

Um, because he just is? Lemieux doesn't have a great chin, would get stopped by pretty much all the top MWs.

He couldn't get Mikey out of there but that was mainly due to Mikey not opening up and just fighting a defensive fight. Mikey is skilled and experienced enough to survive if he wants to survive. I mean props for the shots he took, but it would have been a whole a lot worse if he opened up.

Saying a natural MW/SMW with 44 fights and 2 KOs (one a beatdown to an ATG) is less durable at MW than a 137 pounder fighting his first fight at 147. I mean that's wild man

I didn't pay for this one so I will watch it soon probably and see what it looks like. I had Spence winning early and I rate Spence high. But this is kind of a disappointment for Spence and Mikey imo. Spence couldn't put the small guy out and Mikey showed no real skills himself.

Loma has struggled with bigger guys as he moves up but I think Mikey is a little too slow, hand and foot speed, and not a big enough puncher to KO or really hurt Loma. I think Linares gave Loma more trouble with his long arms than Mikey would. We will see though I hope.

Mikey has to make that fight soon right? Otherwise why take on a Spence type fight if you don't want to fight a similar legacy fight with Loma.

Jacobs hasn't been stopping much lately so idk but I would say Canelo would. Other 2 guys I don't know if they beat him let alone KO him but they could KO him, he is a little chinny.

Honestly I have only seen clips of the fight tonight up until now but if Spence can't stop him and he fights tight I wouldn't bank on anyone at 147 stopping him. I guess when you come in to survive you can come off a little more durable than if you come forward like Lemieux was trying to do.

I don't want to be a downer I just think from what I've seen/heard this was a disappointing night for both Spence and Mikey. Spence couldn't stop the smaller guy moving up and Mikey couldn't do much of anything other than survive. Just not a lot to get excited about.
