For what it’s worth, Mikey looks soft. It’s tough to put on several pounds of solid muscle, especially when your training is geared towards a largely aerobic activity like boxing training. Garcia shouldn’t be fighting at this high a weight. But the proof is in the putting, and we’ll know for certain tonight.

      Garcia should have hired Memo.

It's so interesting to me that Mikey, and Robert for that matter, stopped working with Ariza. I mean Mikey doesn't look bad, in fact, I agree with him, he looks like he put on the weight the right way, but the only time I've seen him look somewhat ripped was when he worked with Ariza. He said he felt the same, but Robert Garcia stopped using Ariza for his fighters.

He gets a lot of clout for the BALCO crap even though he didn’t create anything. Only thing he did was distribute it. Boxingscene fans swear he’s the next Einstein though. If I was a fighter I’d get real s&c coaches. The ones who have worked for legit organizations like Lakers, Steelers, Patriots, Yankees etc
You are being a little unfair to Conte. He is actually considered a sports nutritionist. It is true that chemist Patrick Arnold was the real creator of " the clear" but Conte was the guy who recruited him. I did quite a bit of research on SNAC. I believe that they are on point in regards to the combo of magnesium, zinc, and B vitamins. They have done extensive trials on athletes and many were deficient in these areas. Don't forget that Conte was only trying to stay on pace with the communist bloc in regards to BALCO. The eastern europeans had been cheating for decades.

Im gonna look into B vitamins, theres gotta be a reason everytime i get in great shape i get ill. Conte must know something, Ward wouldn't have used him for no reason, these guys are true professionals.

Mikey is so confident, it's scary. If he beat the monster Spence he will become my hero for sure, damn! Probably also he will take the number 1 (or 2) P4P spot at the same time.

If Mikey wins.. it will definitely shake up the boxing world.. no doubt. But to beat one of the most avoided fighters in there hometown, coming up in weight, thats some G-*****, cant hate, at all..., that's like AJ fighting Wilder in Bama! I kinda wish Floyd came back and kicked manny azz in the Philippines.. Spence did this to Kell Brook.. Mikey Garcia is trying to do the same to him.. but, hmmm, I honestly think this might be a whole different animal of Spence,.. an even leaner and meaner Spence.. this is horrible timing, Spence just went super saiyan! Mikey.. u my dawg.. but.. RUN!!! Lol.

How do you put on weight the right way? Carrots in your tacos? TV and a recliner between sparring sessions? Carona smoothies? Body building is not boxing or Arnold Schwarzenegger would have been HW champ. Lots of luck Mikey, I like the courage, but I'm not buying the "science".

I honestly believe that stamina is the only area where he could've made any significant gains (dude to a lighter weight cut). I just don't but the "added muscle" angle. That would both slow him down and empty his tank sooner. But I'm no specialists so what do I know lol
