  • Comments Thread For: Robert Garcia: Spence Doesn't Realize How Hard Mikey Hits!

ARLINGTON, Texas Errol Spence Jr. is understandably considered the superior puncher entering his fight against Mikey Garcia. The taller, stronger southpaw has knocked out 88 percent of his 24 professional opponents. The defending IBF welterweight champion also figures to out-weigh Garcia by approximately 15 pounds once the bell rings to start their 12-round, 147-pound title fight Saturday night at the Dallas Cowboys' AT&T Stadium.

I also don't know if you Garcias realize how hard Errol punches.

If Mikey punches so hard, then why does he have to "out-box" and "out-smart" spence to win? Why doesn't he simply walk through him and knock him out? Show us the power Mikey.

Because it’s boxing not a street fight. Also hitting hard means Mikey will have extra time to do what he wants. A tentative opponent is a controlled opponent.

I like both guys here props to Mikey for fighting the boogieman

Well, if Mikey hits so hard, then maybe he should turn it into a street fight and use his punching power to KO Spence? That's probably his best option if he truly hits hard.

But he will probably just run around for a few rounds in an attempt to "out-box" Spence before getting KO'd.

Spence is fd lol. Just hours away from getting exposed by a smaller fighter. Cant wait.

The Garcia’s comments are nothing more than a psychological ploy to goad Spence into “boxing” instead of turning it into a street fight. This is why Mikey Garcia keeps emphasizing that he has the better skills and why Robert Garcia keeps talking about Mikey’s “power”. The fact is Mikey is 4-0 with only 1 knockout at his highest weights. If he had the power the Garcia’s are trying to sell us then skinny ass Easter would have never got up. They want Spence to over analyze and fight their fight.. this is Mikey Garcia’s only hope.

I have a favor to ask.

Don't. Don't run. After the fight...own it. Even make your own thread owning it. That's all I ask.

Well, since they dropped everyone’s points back down to a realistic level, how about we make a bet? Let’s wager 22,000 points. I have Spence; you have Mikey. Deal?
