Hearns and Barkley were 6 inches taller than Duran (and eventually moved up to cruiser and heavyweight), Spence is 3 inches taller than Mikey, literally half the difference. It's more like Duran vs SRL to me, same height difference, 135 pound champ moving straight to 147 and taking on an undefeated p4p king in his first fight at the weight class. The big guy is the overwhelming favourite and your ethnicity thing is also common. SRL even moved up to 160 which many think Spence will do at some point.

LOL I just mentioned Barkley because he was about the same size as Hearns, Hearns is top 10 P4P of all time for me (while Duran isn't), which is honestly why he beat him. Just like Spence beat Mikey because he was actually more skilled than him).

Tommy Hearns (like I always called him) is my favorite boxer to watch but his chin/legs + his bad habits with his deconcentration when fighting can't put him into the top-10 P4P ever, IMO

Duran don't feared Hearns big punches, event after the first round, and payed for that right away, and Hearns big reach advantage ans size allowed him to land his big rights behind his jabs, Duran was too small for Hearns

For those who don't know..Leonard, Hearns, Duran, & Benitez fought each other and the total stats between them are: SRL 3-1-1 ... Hearns 2-1-1 ... Duran 1-0-3 ... Benitez 1-0-2 (Benitez defeated Duran also). But don't forget, Duran was a natural lightweight and world champ at this weight class for maybe 6 years in the 1970s
