Is DAZN’s “Performance Based” Vary per Boxer? Guarantee Bag requires Win(s)?

Does AJ risk anything with DAZN, win or lose with his deal? Or is AJ’s earnings under the entire Matchroom contract so it wouldn’t affect him...

Compared to Wilder whom would choose to go solo based, Wilder MUST win all 3 fights to secure the $100 mil?

What about Canelo? What is the least amount of wins out of 11 fights secures his deal? Is this what performance based meant all along? Strictly on the number of losses? And if so, I imagine Canelo has the most leverage than any boxer on DAZN?

I don't know. It's not that clear how any of these giant deals work because nobody really explains it very well. I doubt they keep making huge money every fight if they don't fight well.

First of all know one is going to be able to answer these questions here, but using a bit of common sense I would say these "headline" figures are entirely misleading and indicate possible max earnings if everything went according to plan, so in an ideal world.

Canelo prob earns $35 (or whatever) a fight, but God knows whether he'll actually have 11 more fights, and I bet there are break clauses on both sides, subscriber based bonuses, etc. There are too many outliers in boxing for the headline numbers to be set in stone, like say certain team sports where it's more predictable.

Media always report and glamorize the headline numbers and skip on the details, and sometimes what is reported isn't 100% accurate

When have I ever talked about performance based incentives for fighters contract dum dum? That’s nerd talk. I’m sure you can relate to it though.
