Even this article fails to clarify the situation! That's why I said "The Devil is in the details!" I think Wilder should make a deal with DAZN, but one which allows him and AJ to fight this winter at the latest. Wilder should fight Breazeale (don't care which platform), and then 2 fights with AJ! No need for "marinating!" This fight is ready to go! Waiting until 2020? That's no bueno!

yes yes Wilder only fights bums,thats why last 2 fights he fought Ortiz(who aj would never face)& Fury & was going to rematch fury til he sht himself. How do we know Hearn/AJ have signed off on these fights? Are they guaranteed or the ol' bait and switch?

Why will DAZN offers wilder all that money if the undisputed is not in the rather? That's the fight that will project the viewership to millions.
It's a big long term project and wilder need to key in now that the competition is high and get a share of this mega money flying around.

The time is now or never. I don't expect them to take too long thinking about money wilder will not make on showtime in 7/8 fights but DAZN is giving it out in 3 fights.

I actually think AJ would win now,I didn't before the fury fight but I do now. Stop acting emotional like a little girl. Let's face the facts. If wilder had signed the contract in from of him, maybe AJ wouldn't have ducked him as you proposed. The fight might have come and gone and we would have had an undisputed but it is what it is and done trying to figure out who ducked who because that seems an argument that will never have an end.

when he didn't have the venue/date set, he was a fraud and a shyster.

Under Hearns deal the fight would've happened before Breazeales involvement. Now Wilder gets K.O'd by Breazeale because he didn't sign Hearns 15 million contract that Finkel sent back and he ended up fighting Fury for 7 million instead anyway after declining another 28 million and 2 way rematch offer from Hearn . Think about it for a minute. DAZN want to use the undisputed HW fight(s) to establish themselves as the number one platform for boxing in the US. They're prepared to spend likely approaching half a billion dollars to do it. DAZN are offering a vast sum of money to Wilder. If they're offering him that much, just think how much they must be offering Joshua?

Do you think people give vast sums of money away without wanting anything in return? Do you think that DAZN are asking AJ when he would like to meet Wilder and adjusting their schedule accordingly?

No and no is the answer you should be getting.

The reason for delaying the fight is to maximise the value that can be derived from it. That means getting hardcore Wilder fans subscribing on DAZN well in advance helping to build a buzz and demand amongst the wider population, that means fights to build the big fight. They want Wilder to go into that fight as a credible threat to Joshua, because they want as many American fans as possible tuned in to see an American maybe becoming undisputed HW champ.

latest I've read on https://www.newsnow.co.uk/h/Sport/Boxing is that Wilder, or at least his management team are going to reject the DAZN offer of $100m for 3 fights - 2 of which being with Joshua and the other being the knock-over job with Breazeale.
WTF??!! For that money I'd get in the ring with Joshua every week for a year; and I'm only 6ft, 185lbs, have fused vertebrae in my spine and dodgy joints.
