I'm shouldnt need to explain why.... its common knowledge .

AJ fighting a fat peice of Lard and being laughed at. He could of fought Ortiz and added some real respect to the trinket belts around his waste. And would sell alot more PPV's fighting a big name, top 5 fighter like Ortiz.

No one wasting there money to watch him punch slow blob miller to death.
I doubt there is more money in Ortiz than Miller. In fact, I suspect that AJ would make a lot more money fighting Miller than Ortiz. The real money comes from the casuals, not the hardcore fans. Beating Ortiz might mean more to the hardcore fans, but Ortiz is not a name to people who aren't fans of boxing.

He's also old af and AJ wouldn't get credit for beating Ortiz anyway. People would say "well his age finally caught up to him, so that's another bum on AJ's record"

I've just read that Hughie Fury has vacated the British title. Could this be the door opening for a Dubois/Gorman contest?!

There is 0 chance that AJ would get respect for knocking out Ortiz from Wilder fans. Wilder fans would just say "yeah, Ortiz old now... not like when Wilder fought him"

That's why I don't think AJ really has anything much to gain in terms of profile from fighting Ortiz. Someone on the next level like Whyte or Parker would, but not AJ.

It would be a good fight for Fury though because then he could continue the "AJ is scared" narrative and join in with Wilder calling Ortiz the boogeyman.

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see that happen.

He probably did more of a job on him than Luis Ortiz and that can't be bad for a kid who had only had nine fights beforehand. Watching his ruthless approach to his boxing, you would not believe what a nice kid Daniel is and the truth of the matter is he just loves doing what he does. He is one who was born and bred to box, no doubt about that.

It doesn't work that way, man. If it does put Dubois in front of Ortiz then

Miller doesn't appeal to hardcore or casuals.

The people that do "know" who Miller is. Also know he's a fat boxing bag, who's fought no one.

Age wasn't an issue for AJ when he fought the much older shell of klitchko, or an old povetkin.

yeah, and look how much credit he gets from people like you when he fought them.

If AJ starched Ortiz you'd be the first one saying he's fighting old guys again
