Comments Thread For: Saunders: Canelo Had Biggest Problem With Lara - I'm Slicker!

Former WBO middleweight champion Billy Joe Saunders is looking for big opportunities at 168-pounds. Down at middleweight, Saunders would really like to get in the ring with WBC, WBA world champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez - but he believes the Mexican superstar wants no part of him.

Not going to happen without BJS on DAZN. Canelo has at least 4 fights ahead mapped out with opponents that would be easy to make.

Technically Mayweather gave him the biggest problem. Lara fought negatively as usual and gave up a lot of rounds. I scored it for Canelo

It always surprises me that with BJS's constant inactivity and loud mouth in the game that he could actually compete with Top Level fighters. Lemieux? People talk about GGG being overhyped, but I don't think there's any boxer as overhyped as BJS. Andy Lee barely survived with Quillin.

Seriously what are BJS's significant wins that matter?

They were both so fast it appeared they were just standing still in the middle of the ring looking at each other

                    Saunders record is disappointing

his potential has been obvious for two decades

he did everything he could to make the Golovkin fight..... and he nearly fought Andrade, who would have been a good opponent..... but yea, he needs to make some noise and actually land those big fights

he may go down as an under-achiever

                    like..... you know who
