    A quick look.

    Seems like Ugas isnt really going hard. Maybe both of them are practicing something.

    What I noticed is that while Lopez is shorter, he seems to be thicker. And this means he wont be staying in the 130lber division longer.

            it's just sparring, obviously teofimo looked to get the better but it's only sparring. that said the kid got skills both guys worked on whatever it was they were trying to achieve; ugas mainly focused on counters vs a fast hand fighter.

              excuse me?

              shawn porter hardly makes welterweight. lopez is a 21 year old lightweight.

              he's a fantastic young fighter and a genuine offensive talent, but FFS you are talking about two weight classes of difference and a world championship level fighter against a 21 year old with 12 fights and no wins against anybody in the top 50. sheesh!

                  sparring between a vet with a size advantage and a young, up and coming kid with a lot of talent. both guys were working on stuff. lopez is getting used to size, which he will see more and more as he goes up in weight. ugas is working on dealing with speed, which he wll see more and more if he contiues to fight top 10 WW in a division with good athletic talent.

                    Yeah wouldn't be a surprise if the bigger more experienced pro goes easy on a smaller 20 year old.

                      just believe me if you don't understand this;

                      if lopez could beat a WW with a world championship right now his people would be positioning him for the fight. in reality they are building toward a championship at 135 because they have a young fighter with 12 fights and who is 21 years old. they have to build toward it! and you think he's ready to take on a world championship calibre welterweight?
