It wasn't a case of Wharton, it was that Eubank kept his work up for the whole 12 rounds for the first time (having prepared properly for the first time).

No, Eubank wasn't your average fighter (polar opposite, infact). He always admitted that certain fighters would be worth avoiding, like Herol Graham for example. He said he'd "never" fight Michael Nunn because he was a "liability". He also said after the Barratuebena(sp?) fight that he wasn't prepared to fight Roy Jones because he knew it would be his last(!) and that he'd prefer to have the opportunity to fight again incase he needed the money.Originally posted by jack_the_rippuhHe's retired.
What would be the use of talking ****.
Of course if they were building up the fight he would talk about how he was going to beat Roy Jones and **** like that because the public doesn't want to hear, "He's just so good. I'm honored to be in the same ring as him. I'll try my best, but I think he's going to beat me."
Eubank was 100% money, he really saw no logical reason to risk losing his title and unbeaten record unless the money was abnormally high. He hated boxing.Comment

Eubank always picked up the early rounds with ease, but would then give away the latter rounds due to sheer lack of stamina which would make for close, controversial decisions against medocrities every couple of months.. on his personal roadshowOriginally posted by JuicyJuiceIt wasn't a case of Wharton, it was that Eubank kept his work up for the whole 12 rounds for the first time (having prepared properly for the first time).

No, actually, I'm sure there's a lot of people who would join up to spam about Eubank. No coincidence at all.
