An amount so big they wont even disclose the purse amount because it goes against the bull**** they are selling the public that he is "doing it for greatness". How much you wanna bet they never offered Porter anywhere close to what Garcia is being paid for this to fight Spence.

this is a ppv fight for starters. we'll see what the purses are soon enough mikey took this fight to cash out its a money grab. mikey is over 30 and looking to cash out. why do you think mikey wants this fight its not because he thinks he can beat spence its about the $$$ robert and old man g desperately tried to talk him out of it but in end they were convinced by those dollars.

Yeah and no disrespect to Mikey but he hasn't exactly fought established stars, he has good wins on resume but most of his opponents aren't even known by the casual boxing fan aside from Broner.

My point is that Spence is not (at least at the moment) the money fight at 147, there are a lot more established and bigger names out there currently. That's not to say he won't become one of the stars, he just needs to fight better opponents more regularly
