I like Mikey Garcia a lot, but he's just too small to pull this one off...
I think that it should be an entertaining fight regardless...

Two fine, fine fighters, but there is a big size difference... also while I'm massively impressed with the skills and presence he's shown in the ring, he hasn't really demonstrated it against anyone who could be described as a top level fighter. Similarly with Spence.. dude passes the eye test with crushing ease, and in this case he does have Brook on his ledger (even if you want to put an * by it), but beyond that ain't really hugely proven.

So - an intriguing battle of the eye-test elites, both with great fundamentals but little flash. The old adage and common sense say good big guy beats good little guy, and I'm running with that... the big question is whether Mikey can last the distance and this is where I'm more torn. Mikey's been around pro fighters his whole life and learned to survive against bigger guys - known names - even as a teenager, so if he feels the power early and decides to just fight to survive I think there's a decent chance he could hold out til the final bell... Thing is I think he won't, I think he's gonna look to win and ultimately pay the price.

Y'Know what man, I really like both these dudes but I always like me an underdog story - especially where the dude's taking on what folk saw as impossible odds, so I kinda can't help but root for Mikey... my brain's telling me it's just too much though. If... somehow.. it does go the distance a controversial decision would be no surprise at all though.
