I think it could of gone either way. Porter controlled the action while Ugas posed too much. I think if Ugas was more aggressive he would of had it in the bag as for Porter I felt he should of pushed Ugas who likes to fight at a slower pace. Porter had the oppurtunity to take him in deep waters or at least use his jab more as it was effective when he did but he didn't. Neither fighter did enough and it most likely should of been a draw. I wouldn't mind a rematch to see who can adjust form the first fight.

Porter needs a new trainer. If your dad motivates you that's fine let him be your hype man and second man in the corner. He needs an offensive coach like Roach to teach him to land his punches, jump in and out , and not smother his offense. He wastes so much energy in the ring Andy his Dad can't raise his game high enough to make him a clear winner over other world class talent.

      Great news.

That was by far the worst decision of the year so far.

When I saw the fight I though porter won & I do say it was a knockdown that wasn't called. I have to watch this fight again. The commentating was bad too..the 2 dudes were trying to sway Lennox's decision on who won the fight....smh

I saw only rounds 1-6, & i saw porter winning pretty easily. I didnt see close rounds. I saw porter working and ugas posing for pictures and getting putting his hands down during rounds as if to entice porter into a brawl, & emotional beating his chest after rounds, although he wasn't landing much amd had no reason to be playing to the crowd like that. Unless the 2nd half of the fight was drastically different, i don't see the fuss

Get to the back of the line. that show boating **** turned the judges off. When you don't take a title shot serious then you won't beat the champ🥊

IMO it isn't an option. Close but boring fight anyway, in which Porter DID throw and land more afterall.... but Ugas for some reason just simply did not throw enough. He is a talented kid, and should get a belt within the next few fights, but this rematch won't happen. Time for both fighters to move on. I just think their styles matchup terribly... resulting in a snoozer.

If Ugas gets the rematch, he should stick to his game plan better.

He was up on two scorecards after 6, largely because he was pumping the jab 20+ times a round. He lost because he stopped doing so (only throwing 20+ jabs once in the last 6 rounds). He only has himself to blame for not winning the title.

Does he deserve a rematch? I think any close fight like that does. Do I want to see it? No, because the first fight was terrible.
