GGG probably didn't go to the body on Canelo that much because Canelo is a great body puncher himself. Mikey is not a good body puncher. You are way overthinking this fight. Mikey is not even a big puncher at lightweight and jr welterweight. He has no power to threaten the iron jawed Spence. Spence will walk through Mkey's best punches to land his punches to both body and head until Mikey is knocked out. MAN DOWN!

Do I think he hits harder than Brook? No, but Brook had Spence's respect as well, so not sure what the point is? Garcia doesn't need to hit as hard as Brook to gain Spence's respect, especially early on. And Garcia is a much sharper counter puncher than Brook. Floyd didn't hit all that hard yet he was still able to gain Canelo's respect and other bigger fighters because of his sharp counters. Garcia could do the same....For a bit of the fight at least.
