no he hasn't! by his own admission he wanted two tune ups before he fights against live opposition. he himself said he was still rusty after fighting lopez. lopez just about decapitated thurman. also if you think pac is a tune up you then you're a KNAB.

From a pure entertainment point of view Pac-Porter would be a better option than Pac vs Spence or Thurman. I think Spence would quite easily deal with this older version of Pac, and Thurman would get on his bike from the 1st bell. Pac and Porter would meet center of the ring, and neither would retreat until one went down.

He was the top 147 lber before getting injured. And pacquiao would serve as a tune up. You're just ******. Even thurman knows this. His worda were 2019 will be a tune up year. Pacquiao is a tough fight, but it's much less risk than the others and will make the spence fight bigger down the line. He's small, he's old and his style works favorably for thurman.

Pacman is still the lottery fight and i dont think he deserves that just yet imo. Its hard to say that cuz I like Keith Thurman but he went from the front of the line to the back.

I don't think Thurman can beat any top 147 right now. ...

Yeah, his attitude about Pac prior to his injury compared to now has changed 180 degrees. He used to act dismissive about a fight with Pac, like he wasn't going to get it and had more meaningful fights to take anyway. Now, he's really pushing for it. A lot changed for him during his sabbatical. He really seems to want to cash out and leave boxing as soon as possible. I don't think he wants to be doing this stuff for 5 more years.

You know, stylistically one might think that Pac-Porter could be fireworks, but I actually imagine a fight with more headbutts landed than actual punches. It might well be the ugliest fight of all time. Credit, of course, to Shawn.

Truthfully, if Pac let himself get mugged by the Hornet, he's going to get abused by Porter.

It will be insanely entertaining when 40+ year old Senator and Part Time Boxer Manny beats Thurman.

                    Next fights should be

                    Pacquiao Thurman
                    Porter Ugas 2
Spence Crawford 1 (rematch clause for both fighters)
                    Pacman/Thurman winner vs Porter/Ugas Winner
                    Spence Crawford 2

Spence Crawford winner vs Pacman/Thurman/Porter/Ugas Winner

Voila, we have a undisputed champ

This would be a nice high profile tune up fight for Thurman. Would likely be on ppv and hopefully they give us at least one other decent matchup on the card.

Pacman is washed. Thurman would be his best bet at a win over a current top welterweight and it would make him the real WBA 147 champ. Due to styles he gets bulldozed by Spence or Porter and he already ducked Crawford so...Still don't see him beating Thurman even if he can take his power. He's old and he looks it.
