he goes right back to 135-140 and act like nothing happen. this is why they picked spence. because the size difference excuse is there for when mikey loses.

mikey is at the level where he needs to put up or shut up. he cant keep fighting b-c level guys and he knows this. his act is running out so he's been pushed to a corner where he's either gotta fight loma or a legit ww and so that's why they went with spence. because losing to a bigger guy in spence is better than losing to a smaller guy in loma (i think mikey beat the dog shiiet out of loma tho).

The only way Mikey doesn't come out a winner of this bout is if he suffers irreparable irreversible harm in the bout (see Brook breaking his face). Doesn't matter how he loses, he can just go back down to a lower division and resume his career.

It depends on how the fight goes

If it's even fighting over the first 4 rounds, with Spence's size strength starting to snowball Mikey through rounds 5-7, Spence starts teeing off and his brother stops the fight, Mikey's name would be just fine.

He dared to be great, Spence was simply too big/too good, Mikey will head back down to 135 to finish up lose business (likely WBC mandatory by some point in the summer, dueling wallets to see if he can get Commey to see if he can get his IBF belt back, dogging Lomachenko into stepping up and fighting him to unify the division), and then settle in at 140lbs as the Prograis fight gets built up (with fighters like Davis, Haney, Broner, FigueroaJr, and others all in the mix for interesting fights at 140).

Mikey I am so wonderful Garcia is getting his arrogant conceited bragging ass kicked but I doubt he quits. Nothing in his background as a boxer makes me think he has any quit in him. I am sick of this very good champion making daily speeches about how superior he is to everyone else in boxing today. I will take pleasure in Spence beating him up and knocking him out and showing him that he is not the all time greatest fighter he claims to be. He will probably drop back down to 135 or 140.

If he loses and puts up a good fight he comes out looking good. If Spence beats the hell out of him the whole fight and knocks him out that's a bad loss no matter how you want to spin it. Spence will only have about a 3 pound weight edge on Mikey who is bulking up and expects to weigh 155 in the ring. Spence weighed 156 in the ring for his last fight according to Showtime. Mikey will weigh in at the welterweight limit just like Spence. He won't weigh in at 135. It's a welterweight fight and the loser is a welterweight who lost to another welterweight. It's a fair fight and may the better man[Spence] win.
