These fights are the fights that are incredible when the underdog performs extremely well and even wins. Great stuff for boxing.

Problem we have nowadays with boxing is that they fight so rarely, a loss is considered so damaging. Shame. Reminds me of ****** Angel Garcia complaining about Danny fighting someone else who was undefeated and said, "But if that fight happens someone's 0 has to go..." And reports jumped on him like, "That's how it's supposed to be!"

Schafer playing it safe. Doesn’t want to sound like he’s throwing his fighter in the lion’s den for money. But if Mikey thinks he can win, then Schafer should get paid even if Mikey’s ****d & loses his ******ity

Man in every picture I see Mikey keeps looking smaller and smaller in relation to Spence lol. I am rooting for Mikey to do well in this one but I just can't see it unfortunately. Hope I'm wrong though, I respect him going up and taking a challenge

Not sure why anyone would feel bad for Mikey. He pushed for this fight, called Spence out, and went against the advice of his team. I hope Spence makes an example of him and brutally stops him. I say this as a fan of both guys. Sometimes you need to be put in your place when your ego gets too big.

True. I see why promoters keep their fighters out of risky fights too...mainly because boxing fans are so fickle.

As you mentioned, when a fighter loses one fight, suddenly he's a "hype job" and so on, so I get why promoters move them slowly.

Moreover, boxing fans ask for big fights (Kovalev 1 and 2), but the PPV numbers don't reflect everyone's level of interest.

I figure, if "fans" are gonna cry and complain (for months at a time) about a fight being made, then at least save what....$5-$10 a month until the fight is made....and put your money where your mouth is.

"Fans" complained about PPV costs for the longest and what do they do? They give us FREE boxing on network tv and fans STILL find something to complain about. Gotta love boxing fans. lol

I watched a Robert Garcia interview from Fight Hub a couple of days ago and he said Mikey's gonna spar all the way until....Friday!? Dafuq???

The interview was posted this weekend, so, hopefully....hopefully it actually took place the week prior.

it is to a lot of fighters, but it shouldn't be that big of a deal to him because he's just facing a guy who is much bigger,stronger...so if he loses it's really not a surprise he lost,if he would have lost to Robert easter I would think it would be a bigger deal for him but not against spence
