The next fight UD Porter. He had to make weight and he was NOT his best. He would beat Ugas with his swarming style. Ugas poses too much.

Did Porter come in heavy for that Ugas fight ? I'm genuinely asking I didn't see what both of them weighed.

No way. Ugas won the fight clearly 9 to 3 maybe 8-4. If anything Ugas is the one that wins more decisive next time. Remember, boxer beats the swarmer nine times out of ten in rematches.

Understandable that you don't want to fight him again.
Right Ugas did some damage to porter's face smh Ugas was bigger than Porter and Porter looked timid in that fight.

Ugas did not do enough to win and I was rooting for Ugas. Less showboating, more jabbing next time and Ugas might get the nod.

                Hypocrites.

Porter wins in a close fight = "we need a rematch, Ugas got robbed!"

Floyd beats Maidana in a close fight = "we need a rematch, Chino got robbed!"

Canelo beats Golovkin in a close fight = "we need a rematch, GGG got robbed!"

Ward beats Kovalev in a close fight = "we need a rematch, Kovalev got robbed!"

Charlo beats Korobov in a close fight = "we need a rematch, Korobov got robbed!"

                Yet...

Horn beats Pacquiao in a close fight = "Meh, Manny got robbed, but no rematch is needed"

                People. Seriously. It's getting old.

Hmmmmm that would actually be good, unification bouts in the 147 pound division would be great to narrow down to one undisputed champion..

                      Agreed.

This may sound crazy, but here it is. If Ugas was the champ going into the fight, I would've given him the victory.

Unfortunately, he allowed Porter to do all the work while he sat back and countered all night. He didn't mount an offense all night.

Had he been champ I would've scored his counter punches and unwillingness to give up any ground...but he didn't do enough to beat the champion.

With him knowing people wanna see Porter in against Spence, Thurman, Manny, etc., he should've given it a better effort.
