like i said throw up the punch stats it gives away the winner

we're really not talking about how good a fight is really we're talking about how toney really won it and once agian has been screwed in one form or another from his title ... look at the numbers and try to convince yourself that toney isnt the winner ...had you not seen the fight and just seen the numbers anyone in there right mind would say it was a toney win! ... enough of the in justice it makes me sick

just watch the press confrence of the up in comming sam peters fight...toneys makeing jokes about likeing the pistons and what not and just being casual then next thing i know duva is running his mouth about how toney bull ****s the judges.... and then when toney defends hisself and gets rightfully pissed off everyone looks at toney like its his fault ...HOW! ...so ****ing sick of the injustice in this bull**** sport ! ...so sick of it

toney has multible fights where hes landed over 400 punches somebody tell me how thats fighting 30 seconds a round! ...

Overall, Rahman landed 279 of 933 (30%) total punches to 263 of 633 (42%) for Toney. Rahman had the huge edge in the jab department, landing 120 of 379 (32%) to 48 of 193 for Toney (25%). Fighting in spurts, Toney landed 215 of 440 (49%) power shots to 159 of 554 (29%) for Rahman.

you can clearly see where toney outlands rahman by 56 power shots ..earning him 49 % while rahman settles for 29%

uhhh can you folks tell me where this over powering came at? rahman missed most of his power shots and got wacked with 56 more power shots then he hit toney with...wheres the over powering at? ... is it not true that the only time rahman managed to do anything was with his jab which he had to back up with numerous kidney punches and forearms to the throaght in which one senerio involved the ref prying rahman off toney ...

look folks i cant tamper with results ! ..the fight is what it is the punch stats are what they are the fight was a flipin conspericy

This fight is 1 of the worst fights I have ever seen. Toney has no power in the HW division. I don't see how any true fan of Toney that has been watching him for any amount of time can still be a fan. To go from Toney 10 years ago to Toney of today is a huge disappointment. Toney should have never came into the HW division. He is tarnishing a great career by not retireing.

I have been following him since the early 90's...and he's my favorite fighter ever with the exception of another guy. I still love him, still appreciate his fighting ability, still follow everything he does, etc. If you're a true fan of a fighter, you don't jump ship because their skills decline and they get worse. That makes you a bandwagon fan and a cheerleader.

Everything Toney is doing now is icing on the cake. It's all extras. If you were a 37 year old HOF fighter who came up to HW from middleweight and could control your weight perfectly, you could run your mouth about what a disgrace Toney is. The amazing thing is that he keeps fighting competitively and/or winning against these huge guys, despite never having the physical advantage. He's a freak of nature.

Call it how you will, but true fans still appreciate his work, even if he can't control his weight. He always comes to fight and always goes after the best. The only person whose career he has tarnished at HW is Evander Holyfields.

I hear what your saying. I am a huge fan of Dan Marino and even I knew he was doing nothing but making himself look bad the last 3 or 4 years of his career.

Part of being a great is knowing when to stop. Toney fighting at HW isn't the problem. It's showing up looking like a walrus that's the problem. If he showed more pride in fighting instead of coming in looking for a paycheck then I would have different feelings. He has made his money and he was a champ. His move to HW was a mistake. He completely handled it the wrong way. He should have stayed in shape and fought the way Toney fights. Instead he is trying to be something that he is not. And that's a contender at HW. At 5'9" and 237 lbs, he is as wide as he is tall. Before you know it he will be a 5'9" version of Butterbean.

toney ...landed 56 MORE power shots than rahman....

WHERES THE DECLINEING SKILL! the 5'9 fat ass milk dud midget big mouth or whatever other names you guys call him ..out slugged possibley one of the best sluggers in the hw division today....the same guy who iced lennox lewis ! ...couldnt even dent toneys chin not only could he not dent his chin he couldnt out slug him! ...

WHERES THE DECLINEING OF SKILLS! ...just admit it man that for a fat man that was a 160 pounder at one time whos still able to land in the hundreds ratio when other hws run outta breath after throwing a couple hundred punches... hes pretty damn good! ...

what toney lacks in power he compensate it with his great defensive skills. i think in the HW division, he possesses the best defense

i go for toney by decision

for a 5'9 fat ass as most of you call him he sure has went about going undeafeated at heavyweight...hosting wins over an aged holyfield an exposed guinn a big win over ruiz no matter what the nc is ..a win is a win
a draw over rahman which should have been a win ..
                    and now the peters fight

so if anything at least we have a fighter who fights alot of different hws and not the same kind he knows he can beat

RJJ put Toney down (I still haven't seen this fight). So using that as an excuse doesn't work. It's all in the right punch at the right time. And you can't really call Toney's power shots "power shots". For a HW he hits like girl. He was good at a light HW. Not at HW.
