Gvozdyk has the best English out of them allWow, this is the first time I've stuck around for a Bivol interview, and I'm an absolute fan. Down to earth, well spoken, great guy. His english is miles ahead of most other eastern euros, including Golovkin. Has decent charisma too.
Gvozdyk was my boy.. but damn, fan of both now!Comment

you are hateful ****. Stevenson was 42 years old insensitive ****I've forgotten more about Boxing than you will ever know. Don't doubt that. The point here is, look back on how people hype Bivol up on here. He'd **** this fighter and that fighter, Kovalev is running scared, he'd have done worse to Stevenson than Gvozdyk did, he could beat Browne and Gvozdyk on the same night, easily outbox Beterbiev, would leather Canelo/Smith @ 168 and should fight Usyk, etc etc. Just some of the threads I've seen this week.Comment

my wish for u to a child of your had a brain tumour, you hateful ****what fight are you watching? bivol won every round and smith has not been able to do anything other than land a big shot at the end of the 11th. bivol did what he was supposed to do. the light heavyweight division is in the best shape it has been in years. If you think it's in a weak period I wonder what you thought when chickenson had a belt hostage lolComment

Then he's an amateur trainer. Oh wait, that's exactly where he came from, amateurs, where they don't rehydrate as much. If he was an experienced pro trainer, he would know that's to be expected when your opponent rehydrates 5 to 10 lbs more than you which looked to be the case in this fight. That's why you don't usually turn pro in your max division from the jump where everyone is not only your size, but actually way bigger than you. It does make it more impressive but if Bivol could have a do-over he might have started at 168 then moved up to 175 after. Maybe it's for the best though if he can pick out the best fights (for boxing, not him. Get that detail straight Floyd fans, Canelo fans, etc etc etc) from two divisions.
But that's why. Weight. If Smith weighed the same as Bivol in the ring, he would have gone down. The extra mass absorbs a significant percentage of the punch rather than the chin, it seems. GGG-Jacobs is a good example. For Bivol's team and trainer not to know this is a weakness.Comment
