Just another case of a fighter not TAKING the belt from the Champ.

Ugas did too much waiting and taunting. They basically were trading punch for punch. Porter lands and Ugas lands. No one really took control.

In most instances the Champ is going to keep the belt.

STFU dude, just another delusional mex midget. Mikey has no chance, the fight is a mismatch. You bought into the hype like the sucker you are.

Mikey gets KTFO in 8 or less...

I kinda see it the same way. So with that said, Ugas didn't "take it" from the champ - especially with the dumb intimidation stare downs at the end of some of those rounds that he thought was to somehow win him those rounds(?), and his total inability to cut off the ring.

And even though the champ tried to uncharacteristically "box" his way to a decision, he didn't land ("get off") with hard looking shots and he did miss a lot of big looping hooks. But he was connecting. Ugas connected with the better "looking" shots (especially to the body), but better looking doesnt necessarily mean more overall punching.

I'm OK with the decision. Both guys were fit as hell, but to me they BOTH didnt know how to utilize that fitness in practical offensive moves..... In other words (to me) they both ****** at what they were trying to do. I gotta watch it again to make sure....thats ONLY if I can tolerate sittin' thru it again.

Absolutely. I agree. My stream was a little start-and-stop, but I didn’t feel like Porter was getting blown away like the commentators were making it out to be. I felt like it was a close fight, but that Porter deserved the nod.

                Stfu.

You don't know sh.it about boxing, you said that Porter won this fight lol

                Mikey will K.O Spence.

And i'm objective, the style of Spence is good to Mikey.

But Mikey will lose against Crawford.

Ugas won this fight. Shawn Porter did a lot of running especially the last two rounds and Ugas landed the cleaner shots. Shawn knows he didn't win this fight, now could Ugas have been threw a few more punches, yes. But Shawn's running was hard to watch especially when he's normally aggressive. Oh well this happens in boxing. I hope Shawn at least challenges Spence next like he promised of Thurman won't do it.
