You can take off Phillipines from that list, Spain didnt really care much about it. They wanted New Spain which now is Mexico, Central America, South America, Carribean also.

Who ****in cares? Spain was kicked out the country by the Americans. Pinoys did not yeild easily to the colonials and prided themselves on being who they are and resisted being completely dominated. Even Douglas McArthur once said that Pinoy's were the toughest mofos he's ever met. In other words, we didn't bend over and have Spain completely take away everything. We still have our language. The Japs came too and couldn't make us their bitches. Most Filipinos would rather die. The good thing about it is that we are different from other Asian countries, being more diverse. We have Spanish pinoys, chinese Pinoys, and mix of everything. I am proud to be Pinoy.
