I personally couldn't care less about what network Wilder fights on or for what money, but you're missing the context. AJ wasn't willing to give away all his rights and have no say in any aspect of the fight.

Wilder wasn't criticised for turning down the ESPN deal, as I recall despite them making a lucrative offer because it would have involved giving away his ability to make decisions with respect to his fights. If DAZN make a similarly stringent offer, then he should also turn it down.
