Comments Thread For: Wilder Prepared To Meet With DAZN, SHO 'Still Very Much' in Mix

For months, Gennady Golovkin was widely believed to be the last remaining network free agent left in the boxing market. But in the wake of the former middleweight titlist being scooped up by DAZN, it seems there still exists at least one more attractive option whose services remain available to the highest bidder.

As fans as long as the fights get made who cares what network it is on.

But i will say showtime might be just like hbo by the end of next year.

I hear there was a record number of heart attacks when this broke out. Hope (not really) certain Stephen E. and #LDBS are doing OK.

From the outside looking in it looks like Wilder’s finally started to realise the people around him are feeding him BS imo, Either that or he’s using DAZN as a negotiation tool to get more money from Sho.

From the reports it sounds like he bypassed Haymon and the others and spoke to DAZN directly, while it would be highly hypocritical of him if he did sign (Yano all the things he was saying about the platform), i’m never against a fighter getting paid and it looks like the unification is on the agenda. Big up!!

            You talking about Wilder Breazeale?

I don't think so. Wilder can get away with this fight not being big because it is his mandatory, but I think we have to be realistic; this fight would flop on pay per view if that's the route they take.

Either way he is finally using his brains. When Dillian freaking Whyte is getting paid more than you on average then you know it’s time to bounce or hold them to ransom so they can match DAZN/ESPN’s offers at sho. Which I think sho would try to do now.

Wilder is just plain dumb, but from what I gathered he is from the country side. At 33/34 he has probably 2/3 years left. Hopefully this new found mentality with him would make others sit up.

Got offered 12.5mil right out of the gate huh? The posters that was on here all giddy saying he was going back to 2mil probably fainted.
