Starting to notice a trend here. Fury, Joshua, Whyte.

I guess that would explain the silence from those who used to suggest UK boxing was where it’s at.

But I thought “boxing was dead in the USA?” I thought “no one needs to fight in the USA?” Why is everyone in the USA then? Joshua? Canelo? GGG? Fury? Loma? Etc? Doesn’t seem to fit the anti-American rhetoric we have seen from one country’s “fan base”....

Doesn't that suggest that to a degree 'UK boxing was where it's at'. Broadcasters have just seen that and thus tried to capitalise on it by forking out to get fighters over in the US.

Whyte came to the US and pitched himself. Fury came to the US for the Wilder fight and said several times that he wanted to stay out there.

Finally, Hearn has said many times that greater money was in the US. Some idiotic fans ignored what he was saying and pretended that wasn't the case because Wilder "wasn't making any money."
