    VERONA, New York The fourth time was the charm for Maurice Hooker. Hooker came to the scale for the third time Friday night and made weight for his 140-pound title defense scheduled for Saturday night. Dallas' Hooker officially weighed in at 140 pounds at Turning Stone Resort & Casino after failing three times to get down to the limit for the second defense of his WBO junior welterweight title.

      IDK why people make big hoopla about fighters missing the fight weighin, it could be a numerous reasons why but they usually have 2 hours to make it so as long as they make it, its all good.

          Sounds like he was way over earlier today and may be seriously drained to get down to 140. Could be dangerous for him in there, think he needs to move to 147 after this regardless of result

                                      He is built like Diego Corrales with real thin frame.. I doubt he can be effective at 147.
