Comments Thread For: Jacobs: Lots Of Pressure On Judges; Keep Everybody Accountable

NEW YORK Daniel Jacobs has put people on notice. He can't control how judges actually will score his fight against Canelo Alvarez on May 4 in Las Vegas. The cerebral middleweight champion just wants everyone that's supposed to keep an eye on the process of selecting judges and how they score their scheduled 12-round, 160-pound middleweight title unification fight to treat him fairly.

It's good that Jacob's is trying to bring attention to this issue, but it's not brand new information. This has been going on for nearly 6 yrs when canelo got that crazy draw scorecard VS Floyd. Since then he's consistently gotten crazy scorecards time and time again. The judges don't care about Jacob's making this an issue. They'd have no problem marking down a 117-111 scorecard for canelo before the fight even starts so they can keep getting those canelo paid gigs and lavish accommodations.

I like Jacobs and I see what he's doing here, but no one wants to hear a pre made excuse. Worry about the fight, I have a feeling you will have to worry more about that red headed kid doing some damage. Canelo is younger and still getting better, Jacobs peaked and didn't look too great last time out.

Corrupt Judges are ruining boxing as well as corrupt commissions. If you think Vegas is on the up and up you are ****** , beyond help, and BLIND as a damned bat!

Jacobs has put it out there!!! Read it again !!

But ALL of this was and is well known well before he opened his mouth!! The ONLY naysayers are Clenolo fans😂

I hated it for G to have been ROBBED and suffer a tarnished Legacy when he was cruelly MISJUDGED, by possibly UNDER THE TABLE AFFAIRS AS MENTIONED BY JACOBS BUT NOT ACCUSING!!!!

As it Stands Nevada don’t care what you see hear or think ! They are in it for the dough !!

Who’s gonna BRING IN THE MOST MONEY!!😂😂😂😂

Bottom line is this: The ONLY way to get a win over the Money guy in Vegas is to KNOCK HIM OUT!!

expect at least one lopsided score in Canelo's favor. There is no pressure on the judges

There is no pressure at all. If one judge robbed Mayweather against Canelo then just forget it Jacobs, you are not that important to them.

Jacobs just needs to shut up and fight. He will be lucky to make 12 rounds if the Canelo that fought the 2nd fight against GGG shows up.
