Anthony Yarde is waiting for a vacant title shot

100% that is the plan. Wait for Kovalev to retire/vacate.

Get a vacant title shot in the UK against one of these
    2. Dominic Boesel
    3. Mike Lee
    4. Robert Parzeczewski

It's the Frank Warren way when he's got frauds like Yarde.

Anthony ' The Hungarian Assassin' 'only 12 amateur fights' Yarde - Liars in the camp. The biggest fraud in boxing

This guy won't even spar anyone half decent, let alone fight anyone..

His whole resume is littered with absolute bums.

Complete bums. He argues that they’re highly ranked but all they’ve done is fight other bums.

You can tell he’s praying kovalev vacates. I hope he never does. Lhw is stacked at British European and world level and he hasn’t fought a single body, it’s embarassing.

Buatsi is a much better prospect than Yarde. But the light heavyweight division has a lot of good fighters (kovalev, Beterbiev, Bivol) are on another level than these guys atm.

I was going to agree with you but I looked and seen he only has 17fights. If he doesn’t step it up in the next year I’d have to agree.

Everyone is underestimating Yarde. This guy is a monster and is making the 5th defense of his prestigious WBO Intercontinental light heavyweight title tomorrow, which will no doubt end in a KO. He is the most avoided fighter since prime GGG circa 2013 and Kovalev doesn't want that smoke.

I think that is right, tbf. As Burton says, he's not beaten anybody he shouldn't have, everyone who's been put in front of him, he was supposed to beat. These aren't really 'fights' in the proper sense of the word
