Kinda like if Fury was given his hard fought win over Wilder the rematch clause would take effect due to a loss and we would see a rematch. It's either completely incompetent judging or the fact that the promoter pays the judges and they want to stay on the bankroll or be favorably viewed for future fights. The promoter doesn't care about anything but their fighter winning not the sport or the fans. The fans are too ****** and keep throwing their money at these corrupt promoters. Boxing needs to be mainstreamed into a real sport and promoters should work for the sport and get assigned fighters to promote. The money that judges get paid shouldnt be coming from any promoters. Likewise though GGG shouldn't of taken the second fight. He knew that he wasn't going to get a fair shake after the first fight and that Canelo popped just shows you the condition of the fight. He risked his legacy for money and paid for it dearly. It seems like legacy is really important to him so I don't know why he went through all that just for money. He could of fought a few more times and got respectable paydays without being cheated again. He screwed himself and has to be kicking himself. He already sold out might as well collect another big payday and go for broke he needs a knockout to win but it isn't likely to happen.
A KD would of won either fight. And before the 1st fight almost every expert and GGG fan was saying GGG was gonna KHTFO!!!!

Good post agree with a lot of what you wrote

It sucks that boxing is such a sh.it show that doesn’t even try and hide the fact that $ controls the outcome more often then not.
Most boxers and trainers had Canelo winning the 2nd fight. Even a bunch made fun of GGG for not going toe2toe. Roy Jones blasted him. Go listen to that.

Real Talk! Canelo basically took every excuse GGG had from the first fight and flipped it on his head. Broke his face, bullied and backed him up, made his own trainer throw him under the bus telling the world he didn't think GGG won, he beat the Mexican Style out his azzz. It's impossible for his team to ever use that gimmick phrase again after he ran from the Mexican Style fight he begged for. lol

He was like a **** victim hiding behind his translator after the fight. Canelo literally phuked this man in ways you can NEVER be unphuked. That's why he ran out the ring like a bytch and hasn't been seen or heard from since that night.

Arguably Canelo still hasn't peaked. Only question is whether Jacobs still has it (and no real evidence that he hasn't). If he does, Canelo/Jacobs will be a good fight.
I think Canelo is peaking right now, those 24 rounds with Golovkin gave him priceless experience even if he needed some help from the judges.

Cash Cow Canelo has spoken. He took GGG’s legacy and his belts.
Once he beats Jacobs he’ll look to unify the division. You know, the thing that GGG talked about for years but was afraid to do because it would mean riskier fights.
Canelo finishes off GGG in spectacular fashion this fall and then we’ll see if Andrade has some bite behind his bark.

His fight against a horribly weight drained JCC Jr @ 164.5 was a fight to acclimate to the MW limit.

I'm not dis*****g how great a fighter Alvarez is, he has come along in leaps and bounds - but also in his conduct as a businessman.

I don't think I've ever seen a fighter get such a quick pass and soft touch from a positive PED test, as well as his nuanced, refined Mayweather, approved cherry-picking system which includes making sure he's the house fighter, just ask GGG and Adelaide Byrd after their first fight.

Boxing fans have almost no sense of context and short term memories.

As Jor Jacobs, his resume is slightly better. Being a PBC fighter means he only had to fight once a year, and the only fighter's of note he has beaten at MW is Sergey Derevyanchenko, Peter Quillin and a few other fringe contenders.

Does he ( Canelo ) deserve praise for taking on Jacobs? IMO not really. Yes it's a dangerous fight but Canelo would be very confident of going the distance in this fight if he chooses, and if GGG couldn't finish him off, Alvarez has a great body attack that Golovkin has thrown out for awhile.
So true, especially the bold part, but I'd argue they are more likely fanboys of certain fighters over the actual sport itself. Some of them seriously seem gay for their guy(s)

It's like everyone forgot about the whole Caneloweight debacle. "I'm not a Middleweight." yet comes into the ring well over the SMW limit almost regularly. "Fought" a joke of fight with the half-baked punching bag JCC jr. over the MW limit. So from "Not really a middleweight, to best damn middleweight." The context, wow. This is Comedic Gold. With fishnets leading the way

"I'll fight him right now!" HAHA, Ok... "We blah blah don't f*** around!" then drops the belt and fights no-hopers til GGG is on the wrong side of 35. Get's popped for PED's, slap on the wrist suspension just long enough to... come on, LMAO! Is this real life?

Nothing fishy at all man just business as usual.

I might of missed it but I didnt see Roy Jones Jr. In that list?? He had some tough words for ggg saying he wanted Canelo go toe2toe but then ran.

Ill take fighters and trainers who know what to look for over media hos who like how GGG is friendly and fun to interview.

No body work. Zero combos. And going all hellen keller missing 600+ times does not win fights.

                      This statement is false

Your basing this opinion off a list Big Dunny compiled , who not is paid to post on this site to spread positive Golden Boy propaganda and tear down their rivals ( if he wasn’t paid why would he have wasted his time or would save a list on his computer and post it multiple times just to try and convince people that most fighters thought Canelo won ) of every boxer , trainer who thought Canelo won . When if you look at the list many of the 50 names are clearly biased for a variety of reasons and shouldn’t be included. You really think Hopkins would say if he thought Canelo won , he was one of only
6 people In the entire World I could find that thought Canelo won the first fight. You should also take any Golden Boy fighter off that list or receives a cheque from them ( Mungia , Robert Garcia to name a few ) and probably take any fighter associated with Mayweather because a Canelo win improves Mayweathers legacy ( they aren’t going to be honest ). You might also might consider not including any Mexican or Mexican American fighter because their nationality could make them biased.

You take off all the names off who clearly could potentially be biased and you have I bet maybe 20-25 names. That’s not a large # when you consider all the active known fighters /trainers or personalities in the sport. I’m sure If I got paid or gave a sh.it and had the time I Could compile a list of hundreds of names of fighters /trainers / promoters who thought Golovkin won. Go check out eyeonthering and the media scores from the fight 24 had Golovkin winning 9 had it a draw and 1 I repeat just 1 had it for Canelo,That’s essentially 3% of the media had it for Canelo . They also listed what Boxing Peoples opinion who they thought won and if you take away people who receive Golden Boy cheques and Mayweather associated Fighters you have 8 that thought Canelo won and 13 that thought Golovkin won. Sh.it and I can 2 more makes without even thinking who thought Golovkin won in Arum and Hurd Both Saying Golovkin won so basically 2-1 in favour of Golovkin.

No matter how you cut it The majority of media / fighters / fans think Golovkin won , you know why because with out Canelos favourable scorecards he somehow receives every time he fights , if the fight was judged on a level playing field Golovkin would have won both fights. That’s what the majority saw because that’s what happened

Canelo fans be happy for another undeserved W but please don’t act and think he actually deserved either decisions, because only a small minority , his fans and the powers that be think that’s the case
