It might be lucrative to sign the only Indian pro boxer with any sort of profile, but I don't see Singh becoming a world champ - he's just not quite good enough.
However far his career takes him, Top Rank need to start stepping up the level of opposition pretty soon. The second highest populated country in the world will soon get bored of even their only decent pro boxer, if all he is fighting are journeymen and club level fighters.

what's dumb about it?Nothing.There was ZERO dumb comments in my statement, only the truth. India are hopelessly embarrassingly useless at boxing( could not be any worse) and all the stats back me up.They've never even had a SINGLE guy win a Olympic Gold medal or World Championship Gold medal in boxing , EVER! Never had a single pro world champion boxer, ever!! This is a sport with loads of weight classes, and 4 world titles per weight, and the Olympics are every 4 years, and the World championships every 2 years. They are hopelessly useless at almost every sport too.Same in Football, same in everything. Population of BILLIONS that underachieve at everything. India has a population DOUBLE that of Europe for crying out loud! Some nations/some people just can't fight at all. It's as simple as that. I don't know why you are crying about it - you must be an Indian yourself. Well the truth hurts.
