Fat Boy Dan - DAZN "very difficult to close the deal" with GGG

    Per Fat Boy Dan

    http://www.espn.com/espn/now?nowId=21-41057006-4

Although former unified middleweight world champion Gennady Golovkin has been negotiating a multi-fight deal with DAZN for months that would include a rematch with Canelo Alvarez in September, it’s been very difficult to close the deal. The talks are “moving along at its continued snail pace,” a source with knowledge of the talks told ESPN. “Nothing is imminent.”

Why the hell would he want a rematch with Canelo?! they already robbed this man twice and I'm sure he knows they arent scared to rob him a 3rd time

Remember Bob Arum said he cut off all negotiations to sign with GGG because he was "too difficult to deal with" and that he "didn't like Golovkin's attitude" and decided "he was not worth the trouble". I remember when Loeffler said GGG was going to sign a network deal last year before the holidays. Then it was before Christmas, then Loeffler was kicked out the negotiations table. It's now mid March and he still hasn't signed. Mike Copinger said the DAZN deal was done last year then that it was done in Jan. Then tweeted he's about to sign 2 weeks ago. Now Fat Boy Dan saying nothing is imminent.

            Since Oct lol

This seemed like a slam dunk 5 months ago because DAZN has always been offering the most money and Canelo rematch is the biggest payday he can get. But this is starting to give off a Fury/Wilder rematch vibe, everyone said was a slam dunk too, details of their rematch venue and date were being leaked but it just kept dragging and never signed and sealed. Then it was dead

Probably disgusted with the sport / wouldn’t be suprised if his heart isnt in it anymore,Because or how the 2 Canelo fights went down. Boxing is pretty much turing a blind eye and giving 2 fraudulent decisions to a drug chest . Just because he brings in lots of cash and is the right nationality.

Probably Contemplating signing and taking the big pile cash or retirement. The guys going to be 37 real soon. Ancient for a boxer especially with his style.

I don't believe a word Fat Dan says.

Remember last year - "i have inside information from Team Fury that the Wilder fight is definitely not happening" - fight gets announced just after..
