Comments Thread For: Lubin's Trainer: After next fight, give us Harrison-Charlo winner!

On February 9th, Erickson "The Hammer" Lubin's first fight with world class trainer Kevin Cunningham was an overwhelming success. Fighting on the Gervonta Davis-Hugo Ruiz undercard, the 23-year-old Lubin became the first fighter to stop former champion Ishe Smith. Lubin dropped Smith 4 times overall and the fight was stopped after the third round.

Charlo would beat Lubin again unless he acquires a metal jaw.

Happy to just Lubin fighting again and rebuilding his confidence after that Charlo debacle!

Not necessarily. That short uppercut shot while ur opponent is bent low is a very difficult shot to absorb. Same shot Spence used to knock out
          Bundu.

Why is it every time someone mention sparring

They say I beat his ass, made them quit, I dropped so and so then get a fight with the same person they did damage too only to lose in the real fight and say he was better than sparring indicated. Shut the hell up with that!

What a great story it would be if Lubin was able to get back on top and avenge his defeat to Jermell.

That was a wicked shot luben took. That's all. It was nothing except a freakish shot. Didn't mean that charlo was the better fighter.

No no no!!! Build yourself back up properly this time around. One more fight against a lower top 10 opponent, then someone like Castano and then if he gets by him, by all means avenge the loss to Jermell or fight Harrison. Time is still in his side, no need to rush it and have another setback.

Well I do agree that a lot of 1st rd KOs with two good fighters are a bit of a fluke YOU STILL have to give credit to Charlo. And until Lubin either beats him in rematch or beats a lot more higher rated opponent's then you HAVE TO rate Charlo the better fighter.
