Things may be that way where you live, but where I live, every newspaper, website and TV station refers to Fury as being lineal champion. You have very good points for why he maybe shouldn't be considered lineal champion, but for whatever reason, he's pretty much universally referred to as lineal champion whenever you read or hear about him in America.

"you people".
I am shocked and appalled right now jmrf. Shocked, and appalled. Deplorable. Must be a Trump supporter.Comment

I think its possible, Fury is so boring in the ring that he needs somebody like a 50 year old Briggs to make the fight entertaining. That fight would get alot of attention and viewers unlike Fury vs the likes of Pulev or other ESPN fighters.Comment

This can't be real. A 50 year old washed up has been who doesn't throw more than 3-4 punches. Tell me this is a joke?? Briggs has not business fighting any top level fighter at this time.Comment

Wilder sucks, not really a fan of any HW to be 100% honest. I watch the division purely out of interest for boxing, these guys kinda suck. AJ > Fury > Wilder atm
I still maintain that it is Fury's fault the rematch isn't happening.Comment

A huge joke. No one wants to see this ****** azz shyt. I just rewatched Lewis beating the living shyt out of Briggs a few days ago and that fight was back in 1997.What a fkn joke. Yeah, it will be funny in the lead up MAYBE but I feel the ship has already sailed, and this is after the whole "Ortiz is 50 dur dur" crap. If Ortiz is 50 then Briggs is 60 or 70 if you count accumulated damage.
Joke of a fight especially given the circumstances. Clear as day this fuccer ducked the rematch now if this is true. Fury, Master Bob and Ol' Fish Eyes are having a laugh right now.
1997. Let that sink in for a minute.
Briggs is an old man. Waste of time.Comment
