I’m convinced most the forum can’t see punch by punch

Not watched last fight but ive made this point before. People dont bother to see if a punch lands or not, as long as it was thrown in the first place.

Castano had a good left to the body. Everything else he was trying was just not landing.

Fully agree brother. Thats why the "looked like" was in quotes as Castano wasn't outworking him at all. Castano was getting rocked and his head popped back each round.

Haven’t seen the fight yet, but the comments sound like another typical Lara fight. Where he most likely landed clean shots but spent large portions of the fight letting the other fighter get his own shots off and make it closer than it needed to be

Tonight’s fight proved it Cause no one here is a real fan boy of either fighter. Lara can go in and give a boxing lesson but cause the other guy swung harder he deserved the draw? let’s be real y’all never stepped in a gym

Can't see? No, we can all see shit... the difference is that people literally all see, or more accurately perceive slightly different details and all have a slightly different interpretation of what they notice actually signifies. None of us have a complete and objective picture of the world or any events that take place within it - including boxing matches - just our own subjective take.

There ain't really a right or wrong answer here, the closest we can come is by acknowledging a consensus... and in this case that consensus is probably a draw or maybe a close win for Erislandy (although I actually saw a narrow win for Castano)

pick a round a.k. , any round, preferably one of the last 3 or 4 rounds which were scored for castano and we should rewatch it and discuss why you thought lara won that round

That's the copy I've been watching cos I didn't stay up to watch it live. Ain't really ideal to say the least.

I ended up 115 - 113 Castano but I might just revisit this one when I get a slightly better (and bigger) window on the action... mostly it's got just their upper bodies and they keep straying out of shot - you can't even see all the punches thrown. Also it doesn't help that you ain't got a round counter on there.
