Clean Punching: Clearly Lara won in this category. Castano did almost no clean punching. Lara was landing the much cleaner, more accurate shots.
Effective Aggression: Again, advantage to Lara. Castano was aggressive but even when he had Lara on the ropes he wasn't doing much damage at all.
Ring Generalship: Lara. Coming forward does not automatically equal ring generalship. Even when they got on the inside Lara was getting as good as he got and Castano didn't have the reach to do anything on the outside.
Defense: Lara. He did a really good job catching punches on his arms and gloves. Castano did alright defensively but on the other hand he was getting hit with plenty of clean 1-2's.
