AJ vs. Wilder makes too much money not to happen.

It's a fight that earns close to Mayweather vs. Pacquiao.

At the moment I can’t tell if wilder is really ducking or trying to just EE the maximum cash he can. He will be offered big money by ESPN to face fury and dazn to face Joshua so it’s down to him really.

Logic to me says he should face Joshua on dazn, take the 15 mil Brezeale defence deal then AJ x2 fights. He would mak huge money and a chance to become the undisputed champion - and gets two shots to do it!

Added bonus is that if he wins he will hold a massive bargaining chip for ESPN to get him to fight fury, and even if he loses fury is on a five fight deal so probably would take him to fight fury for one of his latter fights given they have drew already.

If he went the fury route first and lost then he probably never gets to fight Joshua even if he wants to?

Its not messy at all if you've watched boxing long enough. Fury just defeated wilder who is now struggling to fool fans he wants to unify and do this and that. Fury has a great ESPN deal and Joshua is only in his second year as a unified champion who remains to fight anyone willing to sign while having to over pay them. The division knows who the real top guys are we have Joshua and Fury ,Wilder cannot be considered a top 2 unless he defeats either. Its pretty simple uniike the 90's era where the top two guys never fought who were Lewis and Bowe while most fought each other past there primes.

The only simple era in recent years was Klitschko who took on all his mandatories and was that guy alone at the top and Mike Tyson of the 80's who cleared out a smaller stacked era but did so where it wasn't any question who the top guy was . This era isn't simple but its far from messy ,the real fans know the time line of how things played out so far.

The platform wars are just starting.

Joshua while not signed to DAZN due to his connection with Matchroom who is signed to DAZN seems unlikely to venture off that platform.

Wilder while not signed to Showtime or Fox due to his connection to Haymon who has a Fox deal & has some sorta deal with Showtime seems unlikely to fight off those platforms.

And now Fury signed to ESPN so he's gonna be connected to that platform for it sounds like 5(?) fights.

I've been saying there was gonna be a war soon among these platforms & this seems among the first big moves being made.

Would be nice if mfers could have a Coke, hold hands & work together trading this for that. But thats just not how sh^t works in business. And this is business not sport for these platforms no matter the bs any of them try to push on fans. All 3 wanna be the primary source for boxing fans to watch boxing & all 3 won't be still in boxing like they are right now a decade from now.

I think it’s pretty clear actually. Wilder said he is a free agent network wise.

Team Joshua said he can fight on ANY networks in America, his deal with DAZN is fight by fight, UK wise he can only fight on sky sports.

Fury is exclusively sign to fight on ESPN in America and BT sports shows his fights in the UK.

So there is a starting point for all negotiations, the only way fights doesn’t happen is if a fighter doesn’t want it, just like Fury didn’t want the Wilder rematch. If any fighter wants the fight then their team would sit down with their rivals and work out a deal.

Fury is the man to beat and no one should be rated higher until he loses.

AJ/Wilder is a fun scrap but only fanboys of either argue its the fight to make as that winner still has to beat Fury to be anything better than second best.

I expect Wilder to duck Fury like the plague at this point, AJ probably knows Fury will own him but that fight needs to happen as well, don't expect anyone with "something to lose" to be willing to fight Fury.

In my opinion Fury doesn't want to fight either Wilder or AJ. Wilder wants to fight Fury but not AJ. AJ seems willing to fight either of them but not for a 50/50 split. I don't think they will be fighting each other for a long time if ever.

                  Wilder is delusional still.

                  So status quo

"I'm not about the money, but I want 50-50 to fight AJ"

I don't know how many people out there think like me, feels like I'm the only one. I actually like all three of them.

All of them have pros and cons within the ring, and pros and cons outside of the ring. None of them are worth my total respect. But they all bring something to the table, and I don't have any reason to dislike them.
