Comments Thread For: Pacquiao Decides To Allow Son To Follow Boxing Dream

Eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao said Friday he has reluctantly allowed his eldest son to follow in his footsteps after the younger Pacquiao chastised his parents for "killing" his dream of ring glory. The Filipino legend, who has eight world titles from different weight divisions, said he could not stand the prospect of seeing his son, Emmanuel Jr, getting hurt.

Gotta give props to Pac for at least trying. The dark side of Pac knows how this business works, and I’m 100% sure he doesn’t want his son being taken advantage of for a promotional companies high game.

The Rule Book in boxing is the Boxer First, not a promotional company. The Ali Act defends the very essence that the Boxer Comes First, always.

I foresee Pac Jr. with Haymon in the foreseeable future which is a good thing.

Just don't resort to using steroids like your pops. Don't want to end up looking like a bobblehead with back acne
