So GGG should have signed the contract at what weight and what date?
GGG was only interested at unifying and if Ward wanted GGG bad enough he would have came down to 160... I guarantee a prime GGG would have placed a beatdown at 160 vs Ward and got paid peanuts!... but ****** boxing has weight classes for some dumb reason.
GGG ran around threatening to fight " anyone from 154-168 " for SIX YEARS
First it was, " Golovkin: I'll fight anyone at 154, 160, 168 "
http://espn.go.com/blog/new-york/box...-at-154160-168
Then Andre Ward announced his comeback.
So it became, " Golovkin: I'll fight anyone at 154, 160, 164 "
Promoter Tom Loeffler of K2 Promotions, who handle IBO/WBA middleweight champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin (33-0, 30 KOs), says a fight can certainly be worked out with WBA super middleweight king Andre Ward (28-0, 15 KOs). But the deal would have to be under Golovkin's terms and not dictated by Ward. Loeffler feels Golovkin has surpassed Ward as a ticket seller and in terms of name recognition - making GGG the A-side of the negotiations.
Then Ward said that he would consider a catchweight.
So it became, " Nobody at 154/160 can go 12 rounds with Golovkin "
http://www.mma-core.com/videos/Abel_...ht_us/10102303
Then Cotto/Canelo both insisted upon a catchweight.
So now it is, " Gennady Golovkin eyes unification at middleweight "
WBA,WBC, and IBF middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin said he wants to fight the winner of November’s bout between Miguel Cotto and Saul “Canelo” Alvarez.
Then Ward moved to LHW.
So NOW it is, " Golovkin Will Go Anywhere To Face Carl Froch! "
WBA/IBO/IBF middleweight champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin (34-0, 31KOs) is still very interested in facing Carl Froch, according to the champion's head trainer Abel Sanchez. Froch (33-2, 24KOs) has been inactive since his big rematch win in May 2014, when he knocked out George Groves before a crowd of 80,000 fans.
WTF ??????????
stop your bollocks son
and btw..... anyone who thinks that Golovkin could have beaten Andre Ward has no clue about this game, and should never comment on another fight for the remainder of their lives
how the fk would Golovkin have beaten Ward ?
I would not even give Golovkin a punchers chance, simply because he does not one-punch guys..... what, you think he would have gotten lucky all night long?
I think there are 3 of you Golovkin fans who say that G would have beaten Ward..... all of the other Golovkin fans just change the subject lolComment

first..... you insisted that Ward's efforts to make that fight were not genuine..... because, you insisted that he could not make 168
so I gotta ask you, Mr full-of-shlt Tony Baloney.....
Q what on earth gave you the right to insist that Ward could not make 168?
A nothing did..... you were simply spitting out lame excuses, just like the one in my sig
then..... you (bizarrely, and unjustifiably) did a full 180, and insisted that Ward SHOULD agree to 164..... which is 4lbs below a weight you insisted that he could not make
Tony Baloney..... you flip-flopping fanboy clown.....
why should we even listen to you..... you excuse-making muppet?Comment

I just cannot take you seriously bud
* Spence is not a better P4P fighter, than Garcia
* Mikey is already top 10 P4P, I would have him top 5 easy
the point is, Garcia will keep Spence honest..... so he will ensure that fight is a boxing match for much longer than punters are expecting..... they know what Spence brings, and they know what to expect
the first couple of rounds should be REAL interesting
look, Mikey could get caught, and blown out..... it could happen
but, I doubt itComment

Oracle Arena, Oakland, Calif. - Former super middleweight champion Andre Ward (30-0) dominated Alexander Brand (25-1) over 12 rounds to set up a November 19th HBO pay-per-view showdown against Sergey Kovalev (30-0-1).
Why should anyone take you seriously you won't even commit to answering a question. Can Ward make 168 as his trainer claims or can't he.
I said that a catch weight would probably be involved when Ward first challenged Golovkin to fight. At that time Ward was making 168 and appeared to be doing fairly easily. At the end point of his career he was 175. He says he can't cut weight his trainer says he can. Which one is it?Comment

Idk I rate Spence really high. He always exceeds projections in fights and would be number 2 on my pfp list right now. If Mikey were his size I think Spence would secure a one-sided stoppage around round 8. Mikey being smaller than him I just think it's a blowout. Spence is 'the truth' imo. We will see.I just cannot take you seriously bud

stop being a fkn ****
we are talking about 18 months earlier, when he was negotiating with Golovkin..... you know, when Ward's trainer said that he COULD make 168 lol
you insisting that Ward could not make 168..... while also insisting that Ward should have accepted 164..... makes you a fkn ****..... a golov-****Comment

there will be a lot of..... " wow, I'm shocked "..... posts, after that fight
I expect one of them to come from you
Spence is very good, no question..... but so is Golovkin, and we all saw what happened to him when he stepped up in class
Spence is bigger than Mikey..... unlike Jacobs and Canelo when they proved that Golovkin is no killer..... but the size/power difference will not be as much of a factor as people think
Garcia has sparred PLENTY of guys who are much bigger than Spence, and they will be extremely well-prepared..... Garcia was sparring welters back when he was a featherweight, I watched him touch up Maidana plenty of times
If Mikey can turn that fight into a boxing match, Spence will have his hands fullComment

If makes you someone who can't read. The fight was proposed by Ward as early as 2014 when he was fighting at 168 pounds. Golovkin was at 160. I said Ward had to have realized that a catch weight would be a demand by the other camp. He chose not to consider a catch weight and Golovkin was not willing to go up to 168 for the fight. When he made his so called official offer he stipulated that it be at 168 pounds when Golovkin was in negotiations to unify with Lemieux. Ward had increasing difficulty making weight and eventually moved up to 175. It's exactly as I said the two fighters couldn't agree on a mutual weight that both were comfortable with. Now his trainer says Ward can fight at 168 and I asked you can Ward still fight at 168 or not. You still haven't answered the question. Idiot...that was AFTER he moved up
