If this fight happens it should say a lot about Usyk's chances at HW real quick. Lets not forget Povetkin had Joshua slightly hurt for a moment in their fight not long ago. So a guy moving up from CW will need to show some really good speed & defense or have a really nice chin to hang with Povetkin.

If Usyk wins this hes a top 5 or so guy out of the gate at HW. And if he does this impressively & while not being dropped or hurt I don't hate his chances vs anyone except Fury & think he could end up as the #1 guy.

Obviously with this being his debut HW fight my opinion might change real quick if he's too slow for a CW at HW or he doesn't deal well with the power but this cat is massively skilled so if he can transfer his success at CW into similar success at HW he's gonna be a bad mfer.

Uysk has the tendency of being KOed by Podvetkin. Am not sure am so confident about this fight.
I recommend uysk to walk before running.

Fun matchup, but rather see Usyk vs Whyte as his debut fight, cuz Whyte has the size to be a better gauge for how Usyk would do vs AJ.

It should be Usyk vs Whyte next in the UK

I've got a horrible feeling Povetkin shows up looking a bit soft in the midsection just there for the payday

I hope we see a fully motivated Povetkin that's all I want

I hate using triangle theories, but this one might be legit just due to size and everything

Povetkin really struggled with Huck, and Usyk shut him out.

Regardless though, I’ve got Usyk by wide decision.
