Floyd, Winky, & Pac: Why the Hate for Floyd?

First off, I am a PBF fan, and think he is the #1 p4p fighter int the world. That being said, people see Pacquiao and Winky as "better" because they have fought better competetion as of recently. PBF's victory against Zab was a good one, but I think we can agree that Morales is considered a better fighter at his division. So all things being equal (Morales and Judah coming off of losses) people choose to credit Pac for beating the "better" fighter. In my opinion, all of the Floyd criticism is premature. If he schedules a great fight for his next, I really don't care that he fought "inferior opposition" for 1 year of his career. For all of the tough competition he fought at an early age, he deserves the benefit of the doubt at least until his next fight is scheduled. The hating bothers me right now because people are already condemning him before a match is even set. Be patient and lets see what he does.

i think judah was a great fight for floyd, and i could care less about the baldomir fight cause i actually think judah eeked it out and even if he didnt that was def not the real judah fightin carlos, but u did see the real judah fight floyd in a good match, winky has def fought the best opposition in the last couple years then floyd, and sayin taylor is green isnt true at all, i think he cant get that much better and i dont care whos trainin him hes what 27 yrs old and been boxing for awhile and has 2 wins over hopkins controversial or not they were close, and winky was smaller so thats def a plus on winks resume, pac fought a lot of tough comp in the last 2 yrs, larios mab marquez and morales, nuff said, and he did well in all his fights and that resume is better then gatti mitchell n dou judah corley in my opinion, 3 hall of famers pac fought, winky fought 2 and possibly 3 hall of famers if taylor gos on to do well, and floyd didnt fight one, mitchell not a hof, judah maybe and thats a maybe has a chance to turn his career around and become a hofer, but thats it, gatti mite get the benefit of the doubt but thats not skill gettin him in the hof thats will, heart and wars that we wont forget...so opposition wise floyd hasnt fought what pac or winky has lately, so if people want to put them above floyd its understandable, as far as skill is concerned, w/o a doubt floyd is the most skilled boxer in the world, so it all depends on what people base there P4P list after...

Well I like them all. But you know I'm a real boxing fan not just a Floyd **** sucker. If I see something that I don't like then I have to call it. And Floyd making excuses not to fight Margarito is really pisses me off.

As to the P4P rankings, I believe it should remain the same until somebody loses.

I'm a real boxing fan that wants to see big names settle the issue of who's really better or the best.

MAB/PAC rematch
Taylor/Winky rematch
Pbf/Margarito
Morales/Pac III

I generally agree with you Psycho... but I think that bashing PBF right now is just premature. If and I repeat IF the fight with Margarito does not come off, and PBF fights another lesser opponent then I will be mad. As of now, I see it as gamesmanship, Floyd is claiming he's not worthy etc. But in Floyd's mind there probably isn't a person outside oF DLH that is worthy. He claimed Gatti was a tomato can who he would destroy... and then he did it. So my point is that I am simply a boxing fan who wants to see good fights. If PBF-Margarito happens in the fall, I won't even remember this BS pre-fight stuff anyways.
