I don't mind them having a go at each other really, they had a real rivalry and it shows. As long as they are all at each others throats and it's not just one of them throwing shade.

Especially with Groves and DeGale who's hatred goes back to being young kids.

If I was DeGale I'd prefer Groves saying stuff like he did in this article rather than the fake congratulatory tweet he posted today.

Groves is just another Euro level fighter. Who exactly did he beat of note to be considered some top fighter? Eubanks and Degeale? Both Eubanks and Degeale are in the same boat, they are considered great by Euro standards but they also never done much but beat low level opposition. The standards that UK fans have for their fighters is very low and they consider their fighters ATG. Euro still consider Brook some ATG for beating one top fighter his whole career.

It's a slightly different situation I think, as DeGale and Groves have known each other since they were like 10 years old... Dale Youth ABC, travelled to shows together, sparring together for years and years, and from there it grew into a proper rivalry between them when they had to meet in the ABA seniors. In contrast, Froch just comes across as petty, as he's got no real reason to hate on Groves.

Boxing comes from here, that is British through and through like it or not, we invented it, formed latter day rules WHICH are adhered to EVERYWHERE in the world including (probably) your beloved “America”.
Furthermore, the first legitimate heavyweight champion was a Cornishman called bob fitzsimmons who knocked out the American top boy for the crown etc etc etc.
The Eubanks are completely different, it’s just that like many other people you look at the father through the son. You dummy.
