Nitpick all you want. Talk about "deserve" all you want.
Breazeale is a very LIVE dog against Wilder.

I completely agree with the old adage of how 'it only takes one punch' at HW; and with certain fighters, that is definitely all that's needed. Apart from the freak, wonder punch though, I just can't see how Breazeale beats Wilder. Does he out move him? Is he fitter? Does he out punch him?... no, he doesn't do any of that better than Wilder. I think it's fair to say that Breazeale is probably a better boxer but not by enough for it to make a difference to the outcome and definitely not at the level of someone like Fury. Against Joshua Breazeale was game enough but was also slow with static head movement... there to be hit. I'd go as far as to say, he's made for Wilder and can't see it going into the later rounds.

Breazeale doesn't make it past round 5 against Wilder in my opinion. However, I'd love to hear why you think he's a "very LIVE dog". Have you seen Breazeale's last 3 fights?

Even though he's gonna get Knockout the f--- out, I respect the fact that he's actually going to step in the ring with Wilder(I hope). The less cowards we have in the division the better.

Now, to decide if I'm going to make 2 trips to NY back-to-back for this fight and coward vs cheeseburger. I might. The Garden fight will sell so poorly I'll be able to get tickets for free last minute.

Whilst obviously it’s not Fury or Joshua, given the genuine dislike between Wilder and Breazeale, I don’t hate the fight, it should at least make for an interesting build up.

I’d back Wilder to be able to get Breazeale out of there in the middle rounds. Breazeale isn’t great, but he’s far from terrible and Wilder’s has plenty of trouble with worse fighters (Spilka, Washington)

You're right, WBC has to enforce the mandatory at some point - it seems forever since the last one. The only fights that could postpone it are the rematch with Fury or unification with Joshua. ESPN have quashed the rematch until at least Fury's 2nd fight with them, and Hearn is set on having Joshua fight Miller for his 1st USA fight - it's the easiest and most personally profitable for him to arrange as he has Miller on a co-promotional deal.
Looks like turning down Joshua's offer and the earlier final eliminator with Pulev has backfired for Whyte though - wonder who he can fight now that Miller, Wilder, Joshua and Breazeale are off the table? Fury will be fighting Pulev or maybe Parker under the ESPN banner, Povetkin looks set to fight Usyk, and I think Ortiz has a fight booked as well..... Whyte vs Bryan? It might not be the most lucrative fight but it's the only one that gets him anything in the rankings - unless Fury fights Parker so he can have Pulev.

What are the odds on this possible fight?

Would gladly gamble and burn one to Deontay Wilder KO WIN.

Boxing fans get treated like chumps, this kind of s*** confirms it no wonder so many people switch to UFC. Wilder smokes this fool in 3 rounds, just like AJ did. The ONLY fight to be made NOW was Fury vs Wilder but they are all greedy f*** it.

                      Fair enough. Agree to disagree.

I think he has the size, pedigree and experience to make this a lot more interesting than people suspect.

Its a fight i would love to see and i believe Wilder will take this fight a lot more seriously than people realize.

I am confident Breazeale will not be a walk in the park.

Wilder is not unbeatable even with the equalizer.

Fury was given less of a chance and Wilder was happy to walk away with a draw!

I am not sleeping on Breazeale.
