This is very true, but realize many boxers who fought Floyd knew their chances were slim in winning, so it was always looked as an exhibition fight. The poorest of the poor with Fundamentals have nothing to lose with consistency, as we saw the Chino fight. Maidana and Robert knew they didn’t have a camp to outbox Floyd, so you fight unorthodox. It’s a good old school book tactic when you’re the bigger guy. That’s the motivation that he Hagler always pressing the Bud Crawford style in the Motorcity Cobra.

Now as far the IBF rule, I think it should concede to HALF their own rule. Of course the IBF can’t impose their on rule toward another org in a unification, but trimming it to half, 5lbs, seems good for everybody. That means Canelo would have to also.
