Probably because he will be scared of getting Koed himself in the process... So he will fight Canelo the same way he fought GGG, and lose.

This said, I agree that that is probably his best chance. Try to catch him cold early and finish him off. But it won't happen... He will try to not look too bad so he can also get a shot at an even more lucrative rematch.
