I don't think Hearn wanted the Wilder fight in 2018, but I do think he wanted it this time around. He was making good fair offers with 60/40 splits. He always wanted an interim fight in 2018 before the Wilder showdown. It was at the very least another lucrative option out there by Wilder that he didn't really explore due to thinking the Fury rematch was going to happen.

1st of all as I constantly have made clear to you AJ apologists/Wilder haters,I am no "Wilderite" I picked Fury to school him and was rediculed incessantly for it beforehand,I pick Fury to win the rematch had Fury been man enough to accept it rather than talk sht in media then hide behind who all boxers go to when they wanna duck in Arum. I just dug up a post of mine from a few days ago that I think has officially been confirmed now with this news.

Fury despite probably winning the 1st fight,is shook that he'll be exposed now that the expectations are once again mile high. He ducked the Vlad rematch too for the same reason,when he's not expected to perform he has nothin to be afraid of,when hes suddenly expected everything of,he goes into self destructive mode because he becomes insecure he'll be found out,its called imposter syndrome & I'm 100% sure Fury has it.

Also, a lot of you idiotic Wilder fans owe Robbie Barrett an apology because he called it from the get go. I'm sure that you guys won't man up and do that, but you should. Fury and Wilder put together their fight out of spite for AJ and Hearn but it only backfired on Wilder who is now the odd man out haha. While AJ fights for 30 million and Wilder fights for 20 million. Again, Wilder should have taken the "crackhead money" of 15-20 million and fought at Wembley for all the belts.
