Anvi Yilidrim flew to Mexico to ask for a rematch

✈️ Avni Yildirim today flew to Mexico and submitted an appeal to the WBC president. He's asking for an immediate rematch of his technical decision defeat to Anthony Dirrell for the vacant super-middleweight title. The WBC will process this appeal and make a decision.

Honestly the fight was competitive and close and was getting better each round!

I thought Yildirim was winning by a point but not sure he gets it since Dirrell will likely be out till the fall due to the cut!

Also Yildirim’s classless behavior after the fight won’t help his case either!

Very close fight...but was the cut really caused by a punch or a headbutt?

I didn't think the cut was that bad and have seen so many fights continued with far worse cuts. He won't get a rematch. Dirrell was the guy those in power wanted to win and it will stay that way.
