Sadly for Yeleussinov he won't ever be marketable enough for Matchrook to really invest in IMO, he's not displayed the raw watchability that you really need to break through as a non-English speaking fighter competing away from his natural fanbase. Since his style doesn't look particularly suited for the pros, I suspect Matchroom will try and save him for when Josh Kelly has a title in a 'revenge for the amateurs' narrative - that's probably the most Yeleussinov will ever be worth to Hear, it's not like he's the new Lomachenko.

Man idk who all these amateur guys are Eddie keeps picking up, but they are all ranked well so the next US Olympic Team might suck, more than usual, with all these guys turning pro early lol.

Good on Eddie for thinking long term in the US doe. I think his US effort thus far has been sh^tty, but these types of moves suggest Eddie is in it for the long game. Which always assumes Eddie will be working harder & better to make a grander effort in the US in the coming years.

Keep them busy please. Amateur boxers are used to fight every 2-3 weeks. No point to wait 3 between each fight when he will fight bums. Prospects who are coming off good amateur pedigree should fight every month.

Cong**** to young Austin "Ammo" Williams! Big Amateur boxing fan so great to see guys turn pro and get good promotional deals.

He is NOT #1 in his Division though which in the Amateurs is Middleweight but Top 5 for sure! Javier Martinez and Troy Isley are the top guys in that division overall BUT he is a talent with some POP!

Young guys all over are going pro right now due to the uncertainty of 2020's Olympics. Two of the prospects in my sig were going to be in 2020, and went pro just because they didn't want to wait 2 years only for boxing to not be involved.

Oh yea good point. Didn't think about that.

US promoters are slacking like a mfer.

Only amateurs I'm curious to see who gets them are Keyshawn Davis & Jared Anderson. Lorenzo Simpson (with PBC so not sure he has a promoter at all officially) was the other up til he turned pro recently. I think all 3 of them have good potential as pros.

Yeleussinov will be 28 by the time of his next fight. They can get him better fights....
