Lara is listed by boxrec as 5 ft. 9 inches with a 74 inch reach so Lara would be no taller than Spence with a slight reach advantage. Lara has a heavy muscular build and weights a lot more than than Spence with a fight night weight of 168 compared to a fight night weight of 156 for Spence.

Spence does not weigh 156 on fight night. Stop repeating this lie.

I mean he does in the morning when they do the IBF next day weigh in. So technically he does.....At least in the morning. Who knows how much he gains from the 2nd day check in to the actual fight.

Lara ran too much that fight

That's a tough fight, it wouldn't be a walk in a the park for Lara, no way. I need to see Spence against a good mover for 12 rounds before I can make this judgement properly, but I would say it's near 50-50

I agree. Lara is hell for anyone, but pressure fighters like Spence can give him fits. I personally think you have to match Spence's physicality to beat him and can't let him walk you down. Lara made Canelo look like a complete amateur in big spurts of the fight, but never made him pay when he made Canelo miss. Canelo did have solid success going to the body and Spence will be attacking the body early and often himself. Really good scrap.

He wouldn't be weighing much more than 160 come fight night if I had to guess though. You gain the most weight after the initial two meals after the weigh in.

The thing is, pushing the action isn't even Canelo's game, Lara made him push the action and still couldn't beat him, although if I remember correctly I scored that fight 7-5 for Lara. Walking people down is Spence's bread and butter like you said, it's just a question of how well he adjust's to Lara's legs. How effective is Spence's pressure when somebody doesn't let him set his feet and sit down on his shots, by giving him movement and angles? It's yet to be seen, but I think Spence is going to take some beating, especially at 147. It's gonna take a special performance.

Nope. Lol he's down on the scorecards against angulo but he ud's spence. LMAO. He gets stopped with body shots most likely. He can't handle pressure. Watch the anuglo fight and angulo is levels below spence.
